Do not ask me what the plants are called, if I like them I buy them, but a couple of my plants are getting discoloured and another plant has lost its color and has gone very stringy I will take a photo tonight, I think I need CO2 in the tank but not sure I have smaller plants and they are fine just the taller plants .

If someone could tell me why my plant has gone stringy then I will take it from there, plants are not cheap and I do not want to waste more money on plants if they are going to go like that all the time.

Oh, I didn't think you just bought any plant and stuck it in. That's most likey the issue, Could be light, heating, lack of CO2, Lack of the right ferts, plants melting, Could be anything :p

Like you said, photo of the plants would be a great start

Not really any advice to give with no ID or photo......

OK hope this works.

That's caused by poor water flow or lack of maintenance if Rhizoclonium if its Green Spot Algae then low CO2/flow.
