Problem With My Oranda

My oranda has got white on his head what is this its not white spot is it i hope not ?

Oranda's are quite prone to bacterial infections on their wens because of the crevices in the wen growth on the fishes head, your fish definately doesn't has whitespot as the spots are sand grain size and are pure white in colour and tend to affect mostly the fins and torso of the fish, what i suspect your goldfish has is the beginnings of columnaris- you should treat the fish with and anti-bacterial and fungal med and do more regular medium sized water changes to help the goldfish get better .
You should also make sure the substrate is kept very clean (gravel is quite notorious for trapping lots of waste in it, and un-eaten fish food or waste in general can harbor diseases like columnaris) and make sure you are not over-feeding the goldfish, also make sure you are feeding them a varied diet that includes some veg in it as well.
