Problem with Black Molly

I could be wrong, but did you say you do a 10% water change every TWO WEEKS??? If so, this is way too infrequent.

Waiting this long to do a water change will allow toxic substances to build up, and just means more risk for your fishies. Not to say that is what caused your fungus, but toxins always exist in the aquarium, its when fish become stressed that these toxins become a big threat.

You should be changing a MIN of 10% PER WEEK. I usually do 10-20% changes twice per week, you will find most avid keepers to frequent changes for the health of the aquarium. If you are going to insist on every two weeks, make it a 30% change, never more than 50%.

I think this is happening to my rubbernose pleco too.
If i bought a temp tank 2.5g and put him in, and added salt and meds with an airstone would this be suitable till it clears up? But would i need to get another heater (or is this a silly question) as i dont know if i have enough money.
I read in wilders post that it recomends to treat the entire tank, would this mean i dont have to get a hopsital tank? Also, do places like pets at home have any of the meds needed to treat it, also what type of salt?

Sorry to bump this so shortly after, but i really need to know as if need be i'll get another heater and put him in a bucket tomorrow rather than leaving him in and risking loosing the entire stock.
