Hi

I'm just wondering if you guys can give me a rough idea of a price, or what you would pay for a Juwel Rio 125. It is the tank and cabinet, beech colour. The internal filter has been removed that comes with it, and now has a fluval 105. The light has gone, and I think it may need a new unit, not sure how much this would cost. The tank itself is in good condition as is the cabinet. It doesn't have a heater as it's being used as a coldwater tank at the moment. So, how much do you think it would fetch. It's not mine, it's a friend's, and he's thinking of selling to purchase 2 smaller tanks.

Thanks in advance.

Im struggling to sell my Rio 180 for £140 so Im not even sure you would get £100 without lights and a heater, the lighting alone will cost at least £50/60. Probably £80

I would be inclined to agree, ive brought 5 or 6 of these in the past 18 months... complete with working T5 light units and with the original filter ive not paid more than £60 and the £60 one came with a TT ex700 external aswell.

Me personally wouldn't pay anymore than £35-£40 in the condition it's in... as the above states the light units are £60-£80 new and second hand units dont come up all that often and when they do they dont go for much less than the new ones.

Second hand juwel tanks really dont hold there value to well, probably because there are so many around.

Good condition all working max £120 in condition it is in I'd say £60 max but looking maybe £45 realistically.
