Pregnat Fish Neon Tetra Family

So I have some fish that are from the neon tetra family, not too sure what thy are but they look like tetras but a lil bit bigger on the body.

One of the fish has a very big belly compared to the other, everytime the other fish comes near it, it gets very defensive and chases the other away.

Does this sound like symptoms of pregnancy?

Tetras don't get pregnant; they only have eggs. It's probably just the most dominant female and she's probably full of eggs.

If you want to get them to spawn (but you won't be able to raise any fry unless you set up a proper breeding tank) give them a large (75 or 80%) cold water change and leave your curtains open so the early morning sun hits the tank.

That works for most tetra species. It would be nice to know what your fish actually are though; a pic or a better description would help.
