Pregnant Swordtail?

I'm new here so be gentle. This is kinda silly cuz I'va had fish for 20 years. I started with a 10 gallon & 3 red tail swords. I ended up with a total of 30, so I graduated to a 20 gallon. For a while I had a stand that allowed me to run both tanks which was cool in the event of illness and such. Got a 30 I think it was, then friend had to downsize so I inherited her 55 gallon. I suspect my swordtail is pregnant but it seems like forever!!!(a few weeks) It has been so long since we have had babies. Is she pregnant? And how to save fry. She has a dark spot before what I believe to be anal fin. I swear I see orange in her belly with small dots that look like eyes. A short tank list...
Black ghost knife, 2 large pearl gouramis, red tailed shark, clown loach, plecostamus, 2 very long catfish looking sucker things??? 5 misc tetras, 3 red tailed swords. I will not seclude sword and stress her, but set up a ceramic container with tiny holes that maybe fry can get into, but not big mouth fish also cocked 2 small glasses for fry to hide.
Any other ideas? And how to tell if she is pregnant or just wait.
