Hi I recently bought a platy and I believe it to be pregnant, can anyone tell me if they believe it to be pregnant and if so give me advice please? Thanks in advance

Usually when a livebearer like a platy is pregnant, you will be able to see a "gravid spot" like in this image. This indicates that the platy is carrying, and it will continue to grow larger as it comes closer to giving birth.
