I bought a very pregnant platy today, and she was very box like and her gravid spot was very big and very dark.
I made a HUGE breeding net, so she'd be as comfortable as possible, it is about 7inch by 11inch.
I put her straight in there because I have other fish that would eat the fry and/or bully her a lot. I tried to make the transition as smooth as possible but I'm super worried that I've stressed her out and she might be in the process of absorbing her fry :'( because she not as square now and her gravid spot is slightly smaller. Its only 7 hours after I bought her :'(
Is she absorbing her fry?
will she die in the process?
