Pregnant Platy?

I have a small platy, she is only about 1.5" I only got her a few days ago, but i have noticed she is very fat. I keep her with a male platy and another female, who is not fat. They eat the same food. My male platy follows her around a lot. as i mentioned earlier she is very fat, but she is quite small in size so i was wondering if she was too young to get pregnant? also, how do you tell whether a platy is pregnant or not? x you help would be much appreciated thanks

@ 1.5 inches, I would say that she is old enough to be pregnant..

Watch her closely, and if you find that she is noticeably thinner one morning, check tha tank for fry (that is if you plan to keep and raise them)
