Welcome to the forum Xximilixx.
Let us begin with the easy stuff. The forum here does not contain actual pictures. Instead it contains links to pictures that look as if they were located here. One way to do pictures is to load them to photobucket. A membership there is free and allows you to store pictures on line. I find that storing the picture at 800 x 600 makes a good clear PC picture without causing too much time for the picture to load. Once you have that free account, I am sure there are lots of other places pictures can be stored on line, you merely post the IMG coded link on this, or many other, forum as if it was a part of the text. The end result is a picture being shown on TFF. This is a simple link to a picture of a young harbor seal that I took while on vacation in Oregon, USA.

As far as the platy is concerned, I would not try to keep the platy trapped for any period of time. Unless you have a lot of fish in the tank, some of the fry will survive by merely placing some good cover, like a clump of java moss, in the tank. I can't make any assumptions about what you do or do not know so this is java moss just in case you didn't already know it.

As you can probably tell, I use a sizable clump when trying to preserve fry.
