I never get to use the color of the fish because I do not keep guppies or similarly transparent fish. Most livebearers must instead be judged by their shape. There is a link in my signature area where I describe what I see in one of my heavy mollies from one drop to the next. It is called something like molly's progress but the real point to the thread was to give people an idea of how to judge a fish that never shows any color just because she is carrying.
