Pregnant Platies?

Hey guys ^^

I am certainly not new to the hobby of betta-keeping and goldfish, but when it comes to twenty gallon tanks, filters, air pumps, and heaters and community fish tanks...

I have absolutely no clue
Me and my dad have decided to make this a partner project, so he set up the tank and all the filtering stuff, heater, ectectect.
We have started the cycle with Platies. Quite energetic fish those little guys are!

So my dad explained the whole process of the cycle, how the nitrates and ammonia's come from the fish poop and all that jazz..

(Its still confusing.)

So now I'm left off wondering if my little buddies are just about to breed, because I read that when they want to breed, they chase each other around all day till they get what they want.

And let me tell you, that's.. all they do. Especially my orange one and my red one.. Oscar and Charlotte. They keep going at it all day

But now I'm curious about my little gray hifin girl. Is it possible she bred in the tank at the LFS?

She has a round black dot near her lower dorsal, right after some white organ near her chest. I believe its her stomach? Or is her stomach the black dot?

All these questions I was hoping somebody could answer for me, because I am a giant nub in this whole pregnancy process

They look Pregnant to me.
