Pregnant Molly

My molly is obviously pregnant.....just wondering how long till she will give berth?

I have bred many egg layers before but not live bearers.....

i want to remove her from the tank, but not too soon which is why i ask

Shortly before they give birth the female's body will start to look squarish when viewed from the side, almost as if she has swallowed a box. But don't worry if you miss fry this time, she'll have more in another 8 weeks even if you don't have any males as livebearer females can store sperm.

Where do you intend moving her to? Another tank is the best option. Those nets/boxes that go inside the main tank tank stress the female, especially with large fish like mollies.

thanks.....yes i will be moving her to another tank......a 35 gallon......i have lots of them sitting around
