Pregnant Guppy

I thought I would document the journey of my pregnant gupp in the hopes of
Help, comments and advice.

I have a 6 pregnant guppies (red tails with black spots)
My males are a blue lytetail and 2 flurescent orange n red double swords

(Wonder what my babies will look like!)

I was drawn to the attention of one female as she was ravenous for her
Brine shrimp. Her gravid spot is as black as coal and abt 3mm wide.
Plus her belly has just started to look more of a square shape rather than round.
The males are extreemly interested in her! Plus if you were to compare
Her size to a human I would say it was quads!

I usually pop the females in a breeding trap but have always been worried
That they go in too early or get stressed and abort.

Now about a month ago I spotted a few molly babies in my tank and invested
In a nano to rear them (away from my very naughty bleeding heart tetras)

So... I got a big opaque jug ang gently coaxed my pregnant guppy into it and
Gently put her into my nano which houses 5 fry and a few nano shrimp.

Light is off, filter on low (fluval U2). It has 1 live plant and an artificial,
But I'm gonna pop out in a bit n get some more plants.

Usually I just leave the light on it's regular cycle. They usually give birth whenever there ready, mine have given birth in the middle of the day and during the night. And good luck with the fry!
