Pregnant Guppy Updated!

I gots me four new guppies on friday There all doing really great so far. Two of them however (possibly three) look rather plump. Their stomachs look really big and their gravid spots are really black looking. I think they may be pregnant...but I fear they may be constipated or something.. can't give a pic..anyone think they know what it is?

(sorry for my lack of knowledge...not kept guppies for three years)

if it is constpation i believe that their waste should come out quite long as ive had that before, if it is feed them some cooked peas as itll help their digestive system and give them a healthy treat =]

but more often than not they will already be pregnant =]

hope they are, never had guppy fry, only platy, molly n swordtails.

I'd say that if you see gravid spots then they are definitely pregnant.

UPDATE

Happy to report my guppy gave birth at 7:04 this morning! Got to see all the drops too! All 15 fry produced...several eaten (going by natural selection method) and still have 5 little cuties who are eating and hiding well!

Thats soo exciting! I've never gotten to see mine give birth but I can't wait to see it happen! Can't wait to see the pics!
