Pregnant Guppies

Hi

Just bought a 70 litre tank and have filled it with male and female guppies but can anyone tell what signs i looking for when a female is pregnant.

She will start to bulge around her stomach and the stomach area may also become darker (if shes light coloured its more obvious). When shes ready to birth you may find she hides more and only comes out for food. Good luck breeding

How many males and females do you have? You might find the females will have trouble getting pregnant, if they are stressed out by too many males.

i have 20 females and 12 males i was told a ratio of 2 to 1.
