I have 4 dwarf gromamis of both sexes and also bala sharks and 2 swordtails. Would my gouramis still leg eggs and maybe hatch or are there special needs for them?

The bala's would prbably eat the eggs, since they are big piggies and will eat anything that will fit in their mouths.

Not sure about lighting, but I don't see why that would be a factor.

Your eggs should be safe--I'm sure your male will defend the eggs in the bubble nest. Once the fry are free swimming though, they might become snack for the other fish. Can you remove the babies? Have you considered what/how you will feed them?
