Pregnant Fish - Marble Substrate?

Someone gave me some fish today, they came from a very un-clean envirment, the tank was just plain discusting.

Two of the fish (a Zebra Danio, and a Long Fined Leoperd Danio) are pregnant, and one looks like its about to burst, so i was reading that i need a Marble Substrate, but i dont know how many to buy....


Could someone tell me how many marbles to buy to fill the bottom of a 10 gallon tank?

This is kind of a emergency, because i need to know this ASAP before the fish lays her eggs - and its gonna be soon, the way it looks.

Don't know about the marbles.
But when fish have been in badly kept tanks you have to be careful as you cannot swing them back to a cycled tank,
you have to do it gradually.

Does anyone here know how many packages of marbles to get to fill the bottom of the tank?




This is realy imporant, because i want to order them ASAP.

By the looks of things, they look like regular sized marbles, if that's the case then, each marble would probably cover 1 square cm, measure your tank and that'll give you a rough idea of how many you'll need, then get a few more just to be sure.
