got some plattys from p@h she said they was preg here is 1 how long u think she got left

She looks very close; if her stomach has 'corners' at the front, which it looks like it does, she's 'squared off' and should give birth within a day or two.

Pin tailed platies are not all that unusual. A population that dense looks more like a fish shop sale tank than a home tank. That kind of population density cannot easily be accommodated. It is worth the effort for a shop but not for a typical fish keeper.

hi..that is actually my tank..i use to place them before at outdoor. they are the offspring of the platys i bought many months ago. one parent sized pintailed platy could give 90-120 babies. but it is quite hard to maintain that number as they grow especially in their case as i mistakenly feed them live tubeworm at an early stage unknowingly that some live tubeworm should be quarantine first, as they also carry diseases. so a big percentage of them was not able to survive.
