Predator Amano Shrimp

Tonight I witnessed my large female Amano Shrimp eating an adult Female Cherry Shrimp and within a couple of hours it had been eaten, is this normal behaviour for Amano Shrimps? I thought these two species tolerated each other. My other fish do not bother the cherry shrimps so I can only assume the Amano killed it, but then again I do have 200+ cherry shrimps and could have died of natural causes, but still was like #135###, never seen this before but will be keeping a watchful eye on the amano.

I'd say it was dead or dying already.

Amano's are scavangers,not predators so i'd say it was dead/badly injured
