We shall see what happens with this, I've signed up for the site also now, not had a chance to snoop aroun much as I'm at work.

I've looked at Walstad's pictures, not impressed with the aquascapes in general although they do have 'something'. I've read her book and found it quite interesting. I don't think personally I would be happy with a low tech tank as I'm into ADA stuff and as you guys know that's anything other than low tech! But it's pretty interesting that this stuff is online now and is only going to benefit the hobby in the long run.

I've posted a couple more comments.

The first one giving Peter a tips on planting Echindorus tenellus and the second on the boundary layer effect.

I'm very happy to say that Peter has even responded to my advice and he will be re-planting the tenellus as I suggest. This is a big thing, PFK's planted expert taking advice from me, a relative newbie.

My comment is at the bottom of this page
and his response

Boundary layer effect

Could be a whole new career out there for you George :hey:

I vote give Peter Bradley the sack :p

Peter's answered most of my questions. Looks like he'll have 3 WPG (4 tubes), pressurized CO2 and a similar substrate to mine. I wonder if he'll experience N and P defs as I doubt he'll dose macros.

If he doesn't dose macros, he may have a delightful BGA tank! They can be real stunners, you know, look at mine! That's great that he's taking your advice. Hmmmm, maybe we'll see your name in PFK as the resident plant expert, and we can say we knew you when...
