Powerheads

I have an aquaclear 50 for my 30 gallon tank and i'm wondering if I just get a powerheard just to create a bit more circulation at the the top of the tank. They only cost around $14 to get an aquaclear 30 or even a 20 would be enough to create just a bit more circulation. The water at the top of tank just seems to pretty stagnent thats all.

Or you could get a airstone with a pump.

I'd say a powerhead would be best if it's water movement that is needed.

Whats the standard direction for lets say an Aquaclear 30? Does it flow up and is flowing out at the top or does it go down the tube?

Power heads usually have to fit into a slot in the tank, thats how they work with the juwel tanks.
