Power Cut, Please Help Asap

All the power on our road has gone off, it never happens and has been off 20 mins, what should I do?! I have a internal filter and heater room is pretty warm but heating has now gone off!! Please help!

Cover your tank with covers and blankets.and hope for the best.

Bacteria should be fine, ive just bought a used tank (no fish) tested 3 days later and test result shown up perfect, so i should think you will be fine for at least 24 hours

Yea, I say roughly 10% of bacteria dies off every 24 hours, I had a filter that left sitting for 7 days and I could still stock it alittle and keep most of the bacteria alive.

Here's an older video showing what I did last time we lost power. http/youtu.be/62_0gsMEp68 For me temp has the opposite issue, in Arizona the tank gets too hot so I had to float bags of ice. However, you can attempt the opposite and float a closed container of warm water providing you can find a way to warm it. I just realized it's a long and boring video which I made while I was quite worried but hopefully it might have something that will help.

Cover it in 2 blankets, power is trying to come back, light keep flickering, so hopefully back by morning! Thanks for your help! Least I am now prepared if it happens again!

We had a power cut two weeks ago which stressed me out, it was out for three hours and I covered with towels.
I keep thinking next time I go into town ill get a silver blanket or something but I was more worried about the O2 in the tank for my hillstream loaches!
All was well though.

well it didnt come back till 4am, and has been off again since! all seems fine, water stats are fine which is good
