nothing yet, im just seeing what my optinos are, i was hoping for 2 gouramis, 2 blue rams, then the rest being a plec, and a shoal of fish, then if i see anything i like to add it if its ok,for the shoal i was thinknig maybe emeralds or tetras

if i were you id put one male gourami in and 2 females or just 1 male on his own :good:

Dwarf gouramis can carry a virus that causes big lsses in them. If you can get fish that are free of the virus they are fine. However, if you get fish that have the virus then they could die within a couple of weeks.
Make sure you quarantine them for a month before adding them to the tank. Watch the ones in the LFS and monitor them over a week or so. If they are ok and none of the gouramis show any health problems, then get some. If one fish looks unwell, or dies in the tank, don't touch them.

well... i cannot quarantine at my house as will only have 1 tank then but ill try,

ok no worries about quarantine tanks.
The virus that affects dwarf gouramis only affects labyrinth fishes, bettas and gouramis. If you don't have any of these fish in the tank you don't have to worry about them catching the virus. Tetras, catfish, etc don't catch it so they will be fine.

as colin_T said..only infected fish are at risk so having a well filtered tank is always good, but generally dwarf gouramies are quite hardy.. also..make sure you feed them a variety of food inclding flake and live foods, this will make sure the get a well balanced died.

Thanks, ill looking for 1M and 1F

you might have to order in a female as most shops only carry males because they are brightly coloured. The females are silver, the males can be blue, red or a combination of blue and red.
