Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami Attack

I have a powder blue dwarf gourami and it is being attacked 24/7 by a female golden dwarf gourami. Is this usual? thank you

Yes: this is why it is generally very strongly recommended that gouramis of different species are not mixed. This will not stop until one of the fish is dead, so your best option would be to take one of them back.

(This is considerably more likely to happen in smaller tanks.)
