When you buy potted plants from the lfs, is it better to leave it in the pot for a short period before removing and placing directly in the sbstrate? or better to leave it int the pot? Just wondering cause I see benefits to both. Love to knwo what people think

I think that potted plants have ferts in the wool which feeds them for a while, after that i generally pull them out and they do fine.

You should remove the pots and plant it into the substrate. One of the reasons for this is to stop the roots rotting. Its always best to plant any plant direct into the substrate.

Yup remove the pots and get rid of all the rockwool.
