I've had complaints about the voting in this month's POTM. It appears that there was some cheating going on.

If the responsible party would like to PM me and withdraw his/her entry, perhaps I can let it go to the final heat. If I hear nothing further, I will most likely have to cancel it.

If anyone else can give me any additional information about this, please PM me. It would be a shame if innocent parties lose their chance at winning because there is one or more dishonest members here.

I agree, if someone cheated they should be disqualified. It would be a shame for the other contestants to miss out.

I really don't know. It's not like it's going to earn you more respect or popularity in your life outside the Internet, and I'm not sure winning would even give you more respect on the Internet! It's just a fun, community type of competition.

They create new accounts, bribe people into voting for them, they make their friends sign up just to vote...there's lots of different ways, but the first is the most common, although we can always catch them.

Once we've done the last heat, and then next month's will start. As you can tell, we're ehind this month because of cheating - so they've already made it worse for others...
