Potentially A Bad Situation?

Is it just me, or is a male betta in with lots of goldfish a bad idea? Not only as betta are a tropical species and goldfish are cold water, but also aggression issues, tank will be too small for 17 goldfish, etc.

I'm wondering if I should leave a polite, and hopefully helpful message on this person's DeviantArt piece or not? And if so, what do I say? I'd be worried about sounding like a pompous know it all. And even if I do say something, what are the chances of anything changing? But I hate the idea of doing nothing.

From reading this person's comments about his/her tank, they seem to genuinely care about it, and it just seems like a case of not knowing/understanding the needs for these fish.

I would ask them for some "advice" on how many fish one should put in a tank and if bettas are aggressive toward goldfish and vice versa. Hopefully they get the idea and do some research
