Has anyone successfully posted fish without them dying? If so, with which courier and what type of packaging? Royal mail has just told me that they do not post fish. Does that mean those companies on ebay that supply fish via mail order are in big trouble?

TNT, in a polystyrene box, overnight, the same as every shop does when they get fish delivered.

Just called TNT and they don't deliver them either!!! Does the mail order fish companies just lie? I don't want to do this!!!

I know my lfs (Whosale Tropicals) uses them - and I'm quite sure they (amongst many aquatic shops) won't do this illegally.

Yes they do. Ask to speak to their operations department and they should confirm this.
I collect from TNT every morning for my work and there are fish there every Friday for a local shop.

It seems such a shame that a company the size of TNT can't even decide whether they do or don't ship something. I know for a fact that they do ship them, and not just business to business either, ask a round here, there are a few people I know have had them ship fish.
