im going to be posting some corydora fry at 1and a half cms tomorrow and some adult male pepperd corydoras at around 2 inch .
this is the first time iv ever posted fish they will be double baged with the box insulated with polystiraine top bottom and sides, and a heat pack taped to the inside lid.
i know it may sound daft but iv read you starve your fish for 24 hours before posting wich ill be doing with the adult peppers, does this apply for the 1 and half cm corydoras as the are basically fry and need allot more food

thxs in advance dave

forgot to mention should i put a the bags will be filled from an air pump ,
should i put a oxygenating tablet in with them as iv got some

hi drewry, u dont need oxygenating tablets, ive personally never used them, and not sure if they may cause more harm than good.

make sure bags are strong bags and dont forget to double bag them also tape the corners up to prevent the corys getting stuck in the corners and piercing the bags.

yes it is better to starve fish before as this makes them produce less faeces so less build up of toxins

thxs chris :good:
just needed some reasurence before i did post them m8.
ill be turning the bags upside down so they dont have any corners to get traped in :good: the first bag will be tied at the top and placed in the seconed the other way round if you know what i mean.

i was a bit concerned about amonia burn with the build up faeces with fry as i know this applys to starving the adult fish but didnt know if it did with fry
thxs m8

regards dave
