Now looking at the pond, it is a little bigger than i want.

I am going to Cut it down to a 2ft Pond.

Once it has been cut.

I am left with A Shelf and lots of nooks and crannies in the excess.

Are Black Pond Carcasses made from the Same material as those Mad Root and Rock Backgrounds.

If so I can Add/Chop and change and cut into it to create more Caves and of course use Silicone Or Air Hose to make it smooth around the edges.

Or I was Thinking of Using Sticky Back Pea Gravel Sheets, that they Sell in A5. to cover the carcass.

What are your thoughts on this. Want to make sure b4 I start woirk on it.

Which Side should I Use

Oh, Dad Never Paid Anything For It.

Someone in the next street had their garden redone and this was on top of their skip. So limitless possibilities abound.

you dont really want to cut or drill holes in the the thing as it then has the chance of leaking. But if you have to cut it in half then use a pvc glue to glue back to gether. then what you need to do is to paint over the cut in pond paint to seal the glue.

I dont understand whay you want nooks and crannies int he pond as you will not be able to view into it except for the top 5 inches.

or are you going to cut it in half and use it like an aquarium pith an perspex front window??

I am Going to Slice off 1 Side to create an Background for My 3ft Tank.

So which side do you prefer.

I thought the Same. It will make a Mjor Shelf For Planting.

Where Do you Think I should make the Holes for Fish to go into.

well you can do this in loads of ways.
BUT ALWASY REMEMBER YOUR FISH CAN GET CAUGHT IN THE HOLS OF THEY ARE TO SMALL.

1. small electrical ducts. good for shrimp at the bottom.
2. bottom for your cat fish and pleccos
3. middle for catfish

good for plecos would be a larg oval whole with a large cave but the whole should be larger or the same size as your cave. plecos have a tendance of getting in but not getting out. remember they grow large.

if you on the back side of the placticmake loads of boxes and glue them on then make the wholes larger to the size or each cave then there will be loads of space and hidi holes.

major thanks.

did not think of that. Off to the warehouse to get lot
small acrylic pots. usually 6 for a £1.00

Ok Going to start cutting this afternoon.

I am going to use A dremmmel Multi to make all the caves.

For the Banjos and Kuhlis I am Going to Use Pvc Gutter Piping and attach at the base. thsi will also help to make it more stable.

In the Middle where the shelf is i am going to use a Grass and have A cave just behind it.

At the Top I am Going to use another PVC Pipe for the African Butterfley and the Gourami. They seem to prefer the shade druing the day and come ot at night when i turn the red lights on.

Will Let it Cure for 24 hours b4 Adding
