[GP]

Welp, I am going to be setting up a 20 gallon for the GSP's, and later it will become the DP tank when the GSP's move into the 60 gallon. I have been in a mental block as far as decorations go, but I know I want to do the sand/bogwood look. If anyone has any pictures of their tanks I would really appreciate it. Also, what kind of plants should I get, because I really want to make this tank my first planted. I know it's hard to keep plants with puffers, but can I keep java fern?

I have a java fern in with mine right now, the guy at the pet store (he says he has kept puffers) said the java fern was the only thing that could handle the salt in Brackish tanks but even then they eventually die.

I had my heart set on a planted brackish tank but it seems pretty hard. Fake plants look nice and the puffers will like them alot because they are usually more lush then real plants could be in brackish water.

I've heard this also. Maybe I'll just stick to the fake look, and then have a planted tank with my DP's in the future... I still want to see pics though!

If you decide to go with fake plants . . . use fake riccia!! The real stuff is so hard to deal with!

I didn't know you could fully submerge bamboo. I might try that!

Becareful the bamboo does not have the wax on the end of it(definitely not safe for fish) and make sure its been cracked(which basically means no wax to stunt it from growing).
