Possibly Dropsy

i think one of my fish might have dropsy. she's had it for about 2 months now.

i've read that i should isolate her and raise the temp to 86F. is this recommended for subtropical fish like the rosy barb? what effect does boosting the temp have on the fish?

also, how long can i give her daily epsom salt baths?

last but not least, can i treat with kanamycin for more than 3 doses (instructions say up to 3 doses)?

Hate to play devil's advocate here, but a cure for dropsy is extremely rare.... I've never had any success in almost 40 years.....BUT, on the positive side,.... I've heard of success in treatment, so maybe someone will give you an appropriate answer.... I'm also keen to know??
