I'm thinking of turning my empty 55 gal tank into a cichlid tank. Right now the only fish options I have available are yellow labs, electric blues, convicts, and jeweled. Are any of these suitable for that size of tank and are any ok for first time cichlid owners? I'd like to do my research before I commit but would like to pick a species first then learn anything I can.
