Possible White Spot Outbreak

Just raise it another two degrees for now.
What does your instincts tell you, whitespot or not.

ok. I always air on the side of caution so i would say there is a distinct possibility it is but i should probably raise the temp to 28 as you said then wait until sun night. Thankyou so much for your help again, i will be sure to send you a message to let you know of any developments.

Whitespot can be a fast killer of fish so worried to be honest, as I don't know if I would medicate or leave it for now.
With going away it makes it harder, as you can't get back to the board tomorrow.
I think I would half dose for now on a whitespot med just in case.

i will do that now, should i add a aeration stone as well? I have king british ws3, is that ok?

Yes increase aeration.
If its whitespot at least you are treating while you are away.
Then if they do have more spots when you get back you can use full dose if you don't have scaless fish.

brilliant, thankyou so much. I will ask my housemate to keep an eye on them whilst i'm away. its a 125 litre (27 uk gallon) tank so i will add 0.5 ml of ws3, sound ok?

Not sure on the dosage never used that med,
Just half the dose for now just incase its not whitespot.

sorry just 1 more thing, would you add carbon after the outbreak has ceased? even if i just add the one half dose.

You do a water change think its 30% than run some black carbon for two days.
Good luck.
If it is whitespot when you get home had the other half of the dose to full dose then.

thankyou wilder, i'll let you know how it goes.
