just wondering if it's sensible or possible to have a T adaptor at the end of the intake tube and have intake strainers in 2 different corners of the tank? Or would that take in too much water and flood?

Good thinking there mermaid..... Your total volume flow will not be reduced, but you'll have reduced velocity at your intakes, making it less likely to suck in any fish.

ps- unfortunately, I could not get that sketch of mine uploaded.

It's ok Ludwig, I am getting the idea now
I have noticed the most detritus is gathering at the back corner of the tank, either I will replace my lid (which was modified for the way it's laid out currently) and simply move the intake, or I will leave the lid and put a T or L elbow on it to redirect it. Moving the spray bar isn't going to be a good idea, I think it will cause current issues, the current current (lol) is working well, it's just that the detritus is stopping short of the intake strainer, so just gathering my options and how best to deal with it. I also wonder if I should have curved elbows rather than straight ones that connect my pipes to my intake/spray bar, I've heard this gives a more fluid flow.
