Hi, tbh the tank is simply too small to keep any fish, however something like cherry shrimp or a couple of dwarf african frogs should be ok, just

what type of fish u want to put in the tank?

you could keep a single male betta in there :)

get some cheap plants or fake (silk) ones. a few largish smooth rocks and you could have a gorgeous betta tank

i dont know just ones that look nice and arnet that hard to keep stay small feed mainly on flake but can feed on some frozen occosanaly if needed and dont produce to much waste i would love some blue neons but i think they need to shoal and the tanks definatly to small for a shoal also can you give me common names as ime rubbish with scientific names i have two marine tanks but want a little fw. i am also rubbish with keyboards

could i realy keep a betta in there

ten litres is 2 and a half gallons?

the minimum recommended for a betta is 1 gallon.

i do believe it could live quite happily in there. you have a heater and a sponge filter?

in my opinion no, they need and like their space, 20 litres yes anything less no, stick to shrimps and snails and plants and rocks lol

so who shold i listen to

ask over in the betta forum and theyll tell you 10 litres is too small

and one gallon maybe mininum, but it doesnt make it right, its the equivalent of a fully grown adult being kept in a 2 metre cube room IMO

its your call mate ;)

sadly we can just give opinions. i know there is a few people who keep bettas in tanks smaller than 10 litres. me for one, my betta is in a 1.5 gallon, he's very happy in there.

we can only guide you :)

though i have to admit i do like the idea of a shrimp tank too!

yes truck you are right 1 gallon is bare minimum.

but i dont think they will all say 10L is too small.

is there any little fish like neon tetras that could go in ther if a betta cant fit maybe a couple of shrimp and a couple of neons /neon type fish

no neons are a shoalling fish and need to be in groups of at least 6. they like space to shoal :) a 10L is too small for a group of them
