Earlier this week I noticed what seems to be either a white spot or a loose scale on my guppy. I started treatment for ich, just in case. But I'm curious what you all think this is.

I need more pictures from different angles.

Don't add chemicals to tanks unless you know what the problem is. If the fish don't have a disease, you are exposing them to harmful substances. If the fish do have a disease and you use the wrong medication, it does not help the fish and can encourage drug resistant diseases. Find out what the problem is first, then treat with the appropriate medication.

The safest treatment for white spot is heat. If the fish has white spot, just raise the water temperature to 30C (86F) and leave it there for 2 weeks. Then reduce the temperature.

The following link has information about what to do if your fish get sick. It's long and boring but worth knowing.

I think the molly/guppy monster was attacking her. I moved her to a different tank and she's much happier. However, I seem to have other fish issues.now. :(
