I'm not much for the aggressive cichlids at all. Don't know much about them. I want to find this guy a new home but I need to know what he is first. I picked up a 100 gallon tank setup for $150 (a deal you cannot pass up!) and it came with some very underweight fish. This is one of them. I was told he was a snook... and he's not a snook lol. Primarily I want to know what he is so I can find him a new home that suits him (or her). The pics aren't the greatest as I do need to clean the tank walls pretty heavily yet. this is my website link that shows some pictures of him - Better German Blues
It is the orange album of photos - not sure how to put images in the topic itself in the forums.
He is about 8" long. We have looked through cichlid specific species books and some freshwater fish books to help identify him. Thinking he may be a lemon cichlid or a variation of a red devil cichlid. Thanks in advance!
