Hi All
As you maybe aware, over the weekend, I adopted a female betta from a friend.
She was kept in very poor conditions at the LFS, the water was murky, according to my friend. Not sure of the water states my mate had her at but the 3 other bettas bullied her, turned out those 3 were males and not females.
She constantly has her 2 stress lines showing, they did fade for a day on Sunday but have now come back up.
Since having her, her tail and fin underneath have a thin black edging to them but the fin on her back, doesn't. I am starting to worry that she has fin rott and not sure how to do this.
She is in a non-cycled tank, which I couldn't avoid putting her in. I've been doing 50% water chances since Sunday, which she has perked up a bit with and she is now showing a more teal colour, than the greyish color she was when I first got her.
I can't get a good picture of her, her fins are see-through too.
Stats:
pH - 8
Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - 10
Nitrite - 0
Temp - 26
