Possible Fin Rot

Fish can have a bad reaction to anti fungus and finrot medication. So I would only half dose at first to see how the fish handle the medication.
Myxazin by waterlife quite a good medication for finrot.

I would do a Quick Cure bath.

Formalin and/or malachite green dips one of the best non antibiotic routes for fungi or parasite (maybe not formalin but malachite green sure is). As long as you keep the bath solution aerated there should be not trouble.

75 (2.5ml) drops of "quick cure"(99.2% formalin and 0.75% malachite green) for 5g of water puts you in the save zone for concentrations of both formalin and malachite green for a 30 min bath.

Never use in the main tank and avoid skin contact with with the solution.

Preform a water change and run some fresh black carbon in your filter.
Then start medicating a few days later with myxazin by waterlife.

Has the red edging gone?

Not quite the tail isnt smooth probably because its young and male guppies tails grow big also i dont have carbon. ive seen a small box filter from small would which has carbon in it but i had a doubt on getting it because most medications say that carbon should be removed and im not sure i can remove it

Black carbon only effective for 2 to 9 days and it stops working.
Using carbon all the time is a complete waste of money. Only need to use it for removing medications, and toxins.
If you leave black carbon in the filter for to long period, the chemicals can release back into the tank water.

Okay this may help for my future tank also what should i do with the fry? it looks healthy and its colour is showing

What medication should i get for the fry WILDER ? i might go to one of my LFS that i dont normally go to

Just remembered that when the fry's mother gave birth to it, it started to get a little red on the tail and when i told my LFS they said that it could be matureing as that colour is coming but i have to keep an eye on it if it gets fin rot and i was wondering that could the redness be it maturing as its 4 months old and it does look like the time for it to mature also its been 2 weeks now since its being treated

update: i put the fish in the hatchery in my main tank and took it out. its very active and is eager to eat
