Porton Aquatics?

just wonderin if anyone has been to portonaquatics in porton before? went there yesteday and i was disgusted i have never seen fish so strssed in my life, most of there tanks wre 1.5ftish. in 1 they had 2 oscars about 12-14inch. and another 2 flully grown jd's which i he never seen with so little colour and stressed. and also 3 tinfoil barbs wich were named 'xxxl' tinfoils an at least 12". and plenty o other big fish such as green terrors, parrots ec...all in 1.5ft tanks. if thy turnt sideways they were nearenough the lengh of the tanks

i have never seen a shop in as badsate as this, they never used to keep big fish until recently, and they are a rip off.

has anyone else seen this?

yeh, its more or less the only lfs that I use... there's no others around me

yeh they're very expensive for everything... things like corn snake hatchlings which should be £25-£35 and they're selling them for £85! about a year ago they were great, but then they changed everything and renovated the shop... and now its crap.

in my local lfs the had 2 clarias catfish side by side in a tank they were the total length of the tank they coulddnt turn round or anything they just had to sit there

shame cos i used to enjoy a trip to porton, got some good bargains not so much the fish but there was alot of offers on. not its changed its crap i fink
