Port Acara

Hi ive recently bought a pair of port acaras and wanted to know if anyone had any dealings with these fish.
My male is around 4inches while the female is around 3 , do they get any bigger ? what do you feed yours on ? sexual maturity age ? any help would be appreciated thanks also photos would be cool .il upload when i get a minute or two .

They will likely be mature at that size and shouldn't get that much bigger. This is a fish that has gone out of fashion in the last 20 years or so. Was more commonly known as the Brown Acara. I kep Blue acaras which are similar temperament. Not too aggressive but of course they are cichlids and if you have a pair who decide to breed then they will guard a territory.
