Hello all, been a while :)

Tanks been running perfectly for so long but something just went wrong. I noticed its gotten a bacteria bloom a couple days ago ( donno why feeding the same, same light ect) doing the same WC every week 25-30%. The temp has been rising in the hot weather to the very top of the green on thermometer I think 28c. Done water test ammonia is 0 and nitrites 0 nitrates very very low so the same as normal.

I've noticed 1 of my 3 occelatus has both eyes inflated. He's also hanging around the same spot even at feeding times.

I've had a little look around and thought about adding some sea salt (no sodium , got snails)

Any thing else I could do?

Hi Baker, sorry to hear about your wee Oscar eyes...

Try increasing the frequency and volume of water changes for the next few weeks - water condition is always the 1st go-to thing for any malady. There is the possibility it will come and go naturally but you should maybe try a treatment of Myxazin as well.

Not sure about the bac bloom but as it seems to have appeared alongside the temp increases my money's on that.
