my mollie had what looked like popeye , but its been a couple of days since and its seams to have gone i turned down my filter so that the flow wasnt as high as i read on a page this can cause this but would it have gone away so quickly?

I've never heard of that problem caused by a filter. What filter are you using and what size is the tank?

have you added any medication to treat the fish yet? I too have never heard of a filter causing popeye.
