My poor lone cherry barb.

I have him netted in as he swims clumsily in circles and loops and twists, and into everything.

Cant really tell from that distance. It looks like pop eye but too white??

Yes its rather white. My fish cant even swim properly its all over the place when he tries.

I cant get any closer pics atm as my fish are in a temporary container whilst i sort my tank out. Plus if i go any closer with my camera it becomes distorted (8 megapixel as well). Il try, if hes still alive by the time i add him back to the tank.

Bless him can't make to much out in the pic.
If the eye bulging out I would add a bacterial med.
