Pop eye?

When i got my rams from my lfs i noticed one of them had a big eye that sticks out from his head, i should of checked before i put him in the tank but i wasnt sure if this was pop eye or not because after reading all about it, it dosnt really seem like it as his eyes are perfectly clear and he is behaving normal and eating fine, what i think is it could be a wound from fighting as he still tends to scrap with my other rams, and there was alot in the tank at the lfs. I havnt got a picture but does anyone have any suggestions on this?

Popeye is when the eye is bulging outwards, cloudy eye is when there is a white film over the eye.

Are there anyother symptons to pop-eye? Cant find much about it on the net, any of u guys know much?

Cheers that explains a lot, its possible its from an injury then but il keep an eye on him for a bit.

Yes please keep an eye on him, as popeye is closely related to dropsy.

I recently successfully treated a Mollie for pop-eye. (Of course the medicine was successful, not me ! )I used Interpet No9 . All my other fish were fine so I think it hurt it's eye on an ornament in the tank and a "germ" got in. His eye has gone back to normal, it was very swollen before treatment. I dosed twice as per instructions. Hope this helps.
