Pop Eye?

i posted this elsewhere but was told to come here.

i think my sailfin has pop eye?

i have no idea what to do about it! i dnt want my other fish to die.

his bottom fins are stuck together too. does that mean he is going to die?

to my knolege pop eye doesn't usaly spread. if i remember rightly it's a bactira infection. so just the one fish get's it.

well thats good then. i feel a little better.

im gonna go to an aquarium tomorrow and ask what they can suggest to fix it.

i dnt know if aussies use the same treatments as everyone else


could it have anything to do with the plants i put in recently? i dnt know what ones they are, but i recently put a whole heap in my tank


the only stuff i have is white spot remedy stuff and water conditioner...should i put some conditioner in?

not sure about the plants, unlikely. the conditioner want do to much, think your best going to the aquarium seeing what they reconmend. good luck

his eye didnt look as popped out today as yesterday.

i got my mum to go to the aquarium and ask what to do because i was at work all day and couldnt.

the aquarium guy gave my mum one of those plastic carry bag things with some special water? im not sure what he put in there and my mum didnt write it down!

anyway...

i had to put him in the bag every 20 minuted for 3 minutes at a time. i only had to do it for an hour.

hopefully he will be feeling better soon. he is still active and eats a lot.
