Pop-eye

I just noticed that one of my angelfish has pop-eye. What's the best way to treat this?

well, I went on a trip shortly after posting this topic and my brother said that the angelfish died (it's eye completely popped out, too). I thought that pop-eye wasn't usually fatal?

Yes it fatal I have a panda cory had her two and half years and she has popeye, added the bacterial med, but it done nothing and she slowing no signs of getting better, she's going downhill fast.
Closely related to dropsy because of the build up of fluids.

Hi - Sorry about your angelfish. Most conditions are fatal if not treated, the thing about popeye is that it's frequently a secondary infection. I had a bala shark with popeye but it was velvet that actually killed him, the popeye only appeared about a day before he died. Check all your other fish carefully and make sure you haven't got something else going on.
