Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
1 apistogramma dead
1 of my new apistogrammas looks as if it has pop-eye. Unlike the other 4, it's eyes are quite bulged out.
A different apistogramma is flashing.
Another one is hanging out near the surface.
2 of the 4 kuhlis are swimming wildly and pale.
Cories are being a little wild {but thats normal, so may not indicate anything}
1 Angelfish is quite skittish and slightly clamped compared to the other.

Volume and Frequency of water changes: Today I did a little over 75%. Last night I did 25%. I usually do a weekly 50%.

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: Estimative Index dosing and pressurized co2. Today I added CSM+B. Just to cover this point however, there's no way it was an oxygen problem. I am no where close to reaching the co2 levels that are safe, I turned it down last week after the first death just in case, and am slowly working back up. Same with the ferts.

Tank inhabitants: 4 apistogramma, 2 angelfish, 4 kuhli loaches, 4 Metea cory, 9 Harlequin Rasboras

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): Everything is new. Plants. Fish. everything. All added about 2 weeks ago.

Exposure to chemicals:

I don't know what to do. I have ich in another tank which as everyone tries to say, I'm pretty sure came in on an already infected group of tetras. I have been very very careful not to cross contaminate the tanks. The apisto with what looks like pop eye was like that when we got her. The apisto that died was only here for 3 days.

I'm just going to add that, there is a small chance that I am paranoid. I am devastated about the sad state of my other tank. The kuhlis are calm now after the water cahnges and colored back up nicely. The "pop-eye" may just be the way the apisto looks. Their eyes do seem to stick out more then I'm used to on other fish.

Now the one thing I am really worried about still is the flashing. It was the dominant male, and He may have been irritated by whatever was also freaking out the kuhlis? Any suggestions?

Not Paranoia. :( The apisto was flashing this morning and the kuhli's are still being wild. One apisto is still hovering up under my water pump. Any ides what I should do? We did those big water changes so I'm starting to wonder if the fish are sick, instead of worrying if its the water. I have ich medicine and melafix available, but can go get something if those wont help.

I don't get how you can cycle a tank like you are supposed to. Do everything right. And now the fish are all acting funny and one died. I'm quickly getting discouraged here.

Flashing is usually a sign of some sort of skin parasite. It could also be affecting the gills.
Go to your lfs and see if they have medication for this - should do.

Definently have flashing going on. I want to do something about it, but Have no idea what to do. I could treat for parasites but what treatment should I use with kuhli's and cories in the tank. Should I just treat the flashing apisto in a hospital tank as the others seem ok? and hope the kuhlis are just nutso?

I called my lfs and they recommended doing a treatment for parasites. They said Quick cure. But I'm worried about turning everything blue, and I'm worried for the kuhlis.

I wanted Seachem paraguard or something but it's not available anywhere nearby. My "LFS" is actually 30 mins away and they close before I could get there most days.

Is it filter safe?
If so, it should be ok.
The product I use in the UK, Esha 2000 is green, but that fades over a few hours. You could use carbon in your filter afterwards to get rid of any colouring at a later stage.

Maybe Ebay?

I have hard water and quickcure disappears within seconds in the tank. It will still turn the silicone seals a light blue color though. It doesn't seem to affect anything else.
